Varaždin is a city 81 kilometers north of Zagreb and the capital of Varaždin County. It has an area of 59.45 square kilometers and a population of about 47,000. It is mainly known for its Baroque buildings, music, textile, food and IT industry. Its major industries include textile, leather processing, metal processing and viticulture.
