Varazdin, the capital of Varazdin County, is a city 81 km north of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. It has an area of 59.45 square kilometers and a population of about 50,000. It is mainly known for its Baroque buildings, with major industries including textile, leather processing, metal processing and viticulture.
