Győr is located in northwest Hungary. The city covers an area of 175 km² and a population of around 128,000. Győr is the industrial center of Hungary with its main industries including auto parts, machine tool manufacturing, textile, tobacco, food processing, etc. The city is an important historical and cultural city in Hungary with the third largest number of historic sites.
