Perm, Russia

Perm, the capital of Perm Krai, located on the west side of Ural Mountains, is the sixth largest city in Russia. It covers an area of 780 square kilometers and has a population of about one million. The city has been an important industrial city in Russia as well as the land and water transportation hub and educational and scientific research base in mid-west Russia since the 19th century.
