Phnom Penh, the capital of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the largest city in Cambodia, is the political, economic, cultural, transportation, trade and religious center of Cambodia. Phnom Penh has an area of 375 square kilometers and a population of about 2.2 million. Located in the delta between the Mekong and Tonle Sap rivers. Phnom Penh is centered around the Royal Palace and the Pollemorokot Stupa. The Imperial City to the east includes buildings such as the Royal Palace, the Royal Museum, the Royal Gardens and the National Museum.
