Iloilo is a port city in the Philippines and the capital of Iloilo Province. Located at the southeastern tip of Panai Island, at the mouth of the Harrow River, near Panay Bay, with a population of 446,500, Iloilo is also the economic, trade, medical, tourism, educational and industrial center of the West Visaya region in the central Philippines. The city’s major industries include port facilities management, telecommunications infrastructure and utilities, retail trade, real estate, and tourism.
