Ashdod, Israel

Ashdod is located in the south of Israel and on the Mediterranean coast, with an area of about 47.2 square kilometers and a population of about 227,000. It is an important industrial city in Israel and has the country’s largest port. The world’s largest generic drug manufacturer Teva Pharmaceutical Company, the famous construction components producer Ashtrom Group, and Solbar Food Technologies have all built factories here. The headquarters of Elta, a subsidiary of the Israeli Aircraft Manufacturing Industry Group, is also located in Ashdod.
