Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek is the capital of Kyrgyzstan and an important city in Central Asia. As the political, economic, cultural and scientific center and a transportation hub, it covers an area of 169 square kilometers and has a population of 1.09 million. Founded in 1878, it is the largest industrial center in the country. Its main industrial sectors are machine building, metal processing, light industry and food industry.
