Located in central Palestine and north of Jerusalem, Ramallah is the political, economic, cultural, educational and tourism center of Palestine. It covers an area of 20 square kilometers and is home to about 70,000 people. Its pillar industries are tourism and manufacturing. Most Palestinian enterprises and organizations have set up headquarters here.
