East Palo Alto is located in San Mateo County, California, the US. It is situated on the San Francisco Peninsula, roughly halfway between San Francisco and San Jose. It became a city on July 1,1983. It covers an area of 6.5 square kilometers and, according to the 2022 United States Census, has a population of  29,448. On 2014 June 23rd, 11 district heads from Wuhan signed the Memorandum of Friendly Cooperation with 11 mayors from cities in the Silicon Valley area of USA.
