Hayward is a city located in Alameda County, California, the US, which is near Fremont. The city was named after a famous millionaire, who was a gold prospector living in 1851. It covers an area of about 165.108 square kilometers and has a population of around 149,392. The city has a large number of headquarters and factories of manufacturing companies including some high-tech enterprises. On 2014 June 23rd, 11 district heads from Wuhan signed the Memorandum of Friendly Cooperation with 11 mayors from cities in the Silicon Valley area of USA.
