Zhytomyr, Ukraine

Zhytomyr is located in northwest of Ukraine, serving as the capital of Zhytomyr Oblast. Situated 140 km from the capital city of  Kyiv, it covers an area of about 61 square kilometers with a population of about 270,000. Zhytomyr  boasts rich  natural resources, with reserves of titanium ore and quartzite accounting for 80% of Ukraine’s total. The city has a well-developed timber processing and mining industry, with its timber reserves ranking first in Ukrain.
