Fergana City is located in the eastern part of Uzbekistan, in the southern part of the Fergana Vally. It is the capital of the Fergana Region, covering a total area of 95.6 square kilometers with a population of about 380,000. Fergana City is renowned for its favorable natural conditions, boasting well-developed industries such as Textile, petrochemical, food and energy industries. The town of Rishtan on the outskirts of Fergana City is the center of Uzbek pottery, renowned worldwide for its ceramic craftsmanship.
