Located on the southern coast of Pakistan, northwest of the Indus River Delta, and bordered by the Arabian Sea in the south, Karachi is the capital of Sindh Province, Pakistan’s largest city and largest military port. It has a population of about 20 million and an area of 3,527 square kilometers. It is Pakistan's national economic, trade and financial center, an important international air traffic station and maritime port, and a transportation artery in Asia, Africa and Europe.
