Asti City, Italy

Asti, the capital of the province of Asti, belongs to the Piedmont region in north-west Italy. It is located in the hilly valley along the upper reaches of the Tanaro River, a tributary of the Po River, 45 kilometres away from Turin and 120 kilometres to the north-east of Milan. The city is famous for its horse-racing festivals, truffle festivals and quality wines. Tourism is also its pillar industry, with scenic spots including medieval castles, churches and typical Italian northern idylls. Besides, Asti hosts an annual wine and food festival that attracts many visitors. On November 27, 2023, the Jianghan District signed a memorandum of friendship and cooperation with the city.
