Borlänge, Sweden

Borlänge is a borough of Dalarna province in central Sweden, with an area of 586 km2 and a population of about 50,000. Borlänge has a 500-year history of making iron and is still Scandinavia’s largest producer of flat steel. The city enjoys beautiful landscapes and rich tourism resources, with an active economy, well-developed science and technology industries, as well as sound educational and social welfare systems.
