Wuhan COVID-19 Prevention and Control Command Center
Recently, there has been an increased burden on curbing the risk of imported cases of COVID-19. To effectively prevent and control COVID-19 and better serve those who come/return to Wuhan from abroad, relevant matters are hereby notified as follows:
From 00:00 on March 17th, all travelers arriving at/returning to Wuhan from overseas will have to report their arrival and health condition for management. They will be transferred to designated places for the 14-day quarantine and observation. Expenses incurred will be paid by travelers themselves.
In terms of imported cases of COVID-19, the medical expenses on COVID-19 can be reimbursed based on relevant policies if they have been covered in China’s basic medical insurance. If not, they will bear their own medical costs on COVID-19. If they are proved to be unable to afford the medical bills, the fees will be covered with medical aid based on related law.
