Suwon is the provincial capital of Gyeonggi-do, ROK. Its total area is 121.13 km²and its population is about 1.2 million. Renowned for its technological advancements, it houses the biggest digital zone in the ROK and the headquarter of Samsung. The city’s ancient fortress walls, known as “Hwaseong”, have been honored as a UNESCO World Cultural  Heritage site.
