Le Mans, France

Le Mans is located in northwestern France, on the bank of the Sarthe River, and is the capital city of the Sarthe department in the Loire region. The city of Le Mans covers an area of  53 square kilometers and has a population of about 140,000. The city is part of the Paris 1-hour economic circle, and its world-renowned "24 Hours of Le Mans" has a history of 100 years.
